Studienkolleg preparation online
Maths, physics and German for the entrance exam (Aufnahmetest) — from any country, with teachers who know the German exam system from the inside.
You can start preparing for the Studienkolleg before you move to Germany: lessons take place by video call, you get materials and homework after every lesson, and between lessons you practise in our online trainer. The entrance exam itself is written in German and usually without a calculator — and that is exactly what we prepare you for.
Who it is for
- Applicants for the T, M or W course who take maths in the entrance exam — and often physics as well in the T and M courses.
- Anyone who needs to improve their German: it is tested in every course, often with a C-Test.
- Anyone not yet in Germany or living far from their Kolleg: all you need is a computer, an internet connection and time.
- Students already at a Studienkolleg preparing for Klausuren and the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP).
What we work on
Maths
The entrance exam is built on school algebra and functions: simplifying expressions, powers and roots, equations and inequalities, linear and quadratic functions; many tests add logarithms, trigonometry and geometry. We work in German from the start, solve without a calculator and practise setting out a solution the way a German examiner expects. Our free maths test shows the kind of tasks you will meet.
Physics
For the T and M courses. Topics follow the syllabus of your Studienkolleg, and the problems are worded in German, as in the exam.
German and the C-Test
One-to-one lessons with a German-language specialist: school German, speaking, writing and exam preparation — TestDaF, DSH, telc, Goethe-Zertifikat. For the entrance exam we train the C-Test; you can try the format in our free C-Test online.
Documents and choosing a Kolleg
Our assistant advises on the application procedure and on what each Kolleg requires, and we help with the motivation letter and the Lebenslauf. If you are still choosing a Kolleg and a course, a consultation is a good place to start. The whole route, step by step, is in our guide how to get into a Studienkolleg.
How an online lesson works
Lessons run by video call — on Discord, MS Teams or another program that suits you. Explanations can be in Russian or German, whichever you prefer; tasks, terms and written solutions are in German, as in the exam.
- Theory and terms. We work through the topic with a presentation and build your German glossary as we go.
- Wording and strategy. Reading German task wording with confidence, setting out the solution properly, planning your time and not losing marks for nothing.
- Problems. The first ones we solve together, the rest you solve on your own, using Studienkolleg material and past exam papers.
- Homework. After the lesson you get materials and homework; we mark it and go through the mistakes.
Between lessons you can ask maths questions in the support chat — no need to wait for the next lesson because of one unclear problem. There is a full course (theory and practice) and an intensive course built mostly on official samples and past exam tasks.
What it costs

Who teaches
We are a small team. Maths and physics are taught by a graduate of the University of Stuttgart with university experience and five years of teaching, German by a German-language specialist with substantial teaching experience. Our assistant, a student at an Austrian university, advises on documents. We have prepared more than 200 students, and over 90% of them pass the exam. You can read what they say in the reviews.
How to start
Write to us via the form on the site or on Telegram: which Kolleg and course you are applying for, when the exam is and what you find hardest. We will look at your situation and suggest a format. The enquiry is non-binding.
If you would rather check yourself first, take the free C-Test and the maths test — it will be clearer where to begin.
